About Us

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems Association (UAVS) is the Trade Association, recognised by the United Kingdom Government, for representing the interests of the UAV industry. Its goal is to stimulate a safe, effective and integrated way forward for the UAV systems industry. .

UAVS acts as a focal point for industry wishing to develop, manufacture, support and operate either systems or sub-systems in the UK.

It provides an industry forum for discussions with UK Government departments on all aspects of UAV system deployment and certification.

UAVS also maintains contact with other national and international UAV and aviation organisations and is open to membership by companies, organisations and individuals worldwide. It also seeks to influence and assist the UK Government in actively supporting the development of legislative frameworks in the international fora.

The Association has formed various Working Groups, as requested by members, to deal with specific UAV issues and market barriers. It has also formed working relationships, and partnerships, with other international associations.
